Video: Faye Flearmoy at The Leaders Council with Johnny Wilkinson

Over the summer, Faye attended her first Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland event, which was held in the House of Lords and hosted by Jonny Wilkinson.

Jonny shared his profound insights on the mental trials and tribulations of leadership, drawing from his remarkable journey to World Cup success. The evening also offered a great opportunity for members to network.

Chaired by former Home Secretary and Education Secretary, Lord Blunkett, The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is a network of the most influential figures from across the country. It champions and celebrates the hard work and achievements of Great British leaders, while seeking to inspire the next generation.

Faye says “I had an amazing time making new connections, eating some crazy canapés and drinking fizz in the most incredible, historical surroundings. I loved sharing tales from my events Businesses. A night I won’t forget in a while!"

Faye took some great photos of the event, one of which is the famous gold coach used for the reigning monarch.

This coach was displayed in the room where the late Queen Elizabeth II was laid in state so people could pay their respects.

Jonny Wilkson gave a speech to the attendees.

“What Jonny said was so true. Among many things he shared, he pointed out about our own judgement of situations and people being due to our own story, agenda, issues, and so on, and how we can remove this and make it a positive before we begin. This is so true. Judgement is the fastest thing we all do every day of our lives and I feel so much better when I take it away. He was fascinating and I really enjoyed his talk and took so much from it to bring home to the businesses. Thank you to Craig Willman and The Leaders Council for organising it.”

In October, Faye is returning to the Leaders Council event at the Palace of Westminster, this time hosted by Lord Blunkett, featuring an afternoon tea for members and their guests, followed by the opportunity to network.

You can find out more about The Leaders Council on their website.

Of course, these events need co-ordinating and managing, like all events do, so this is our opportunity to remind you that Faye has managed events all over the world, including for royalty, and is keen to hear about new project opportunities. Whether the event is big or small, high profile or low key!
